Store Not Loading
Meta VR Headset
Severity: MinorWhat Does This Error Mean?
The Meta Quest Store not loading is almost always a Wi-Fi or server issue. Check your Wi-Fi connection and try restarting the headset. Meta's servers occasionally have outages.
Affected Models
- Meta Quest 2
- Meta Quest 3
- Meta Quest 3S
- Meta Quest Pro
Common Causes
- No Wi-Fi connection or weak signal
- Meta servers down (check downdetector.com)
- Corrupted store cache on the headset
- Account issue — logged out or payment method problem
- Outdated headset firmware
How to Fix It
-
Check Wi-Fi is connected.
The store requires an active internet connection. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi and confirm the headset is connected.
-
Check if Meta services are down.
Visit downdetector.com/status/meta from your phone. If Meta's servers are having issues, there is nothing to do but wait.
-
Restart the headset.
Hold the power button → Restart. This clears the store app cache and reloads the session.
-
Clear the store app cache.
Settings → Apps → Meta Quest Store → Clear Cache. This forces the store to reload all content fresh.
-
Log out and back into your Meta account.
Settings → Accounts → Log Out. Log back in with your Meta credentials. A session token issue can prevent the store from loading.
