How to Fix It

  2. Check phone volume and silent mode

    Increase your phone's media/ringer volume. On iPhone, check the physical silent switch on the side. The eufy app plays audio through the phone speaker, which is affected by the phone's volume settings.

  3. Enable two-way talk

    For two-way audio (speaking to your baby), tap and hold the microphone icon in the live view screen. Release to listen. Two-way talk must be actively held — it is not a hands-free toggle.

  4. Check Wi-Fi signal strength

    A weak Wi-Fi connection can drop the audio stream while maintaining video (video uses less bandwidth than real-time audio). Move the camera closer to the router or add a Wi-Fi extender.

  5. Restart camera and app

    Unplug the camera for 10 seconds, plug back in, wait 60 seconds. Then force-close the eufy app and reopen it. This resets the audio stream.

If the camera shows a live video feed but there is absolutely no audio even at maximum volume with the microphone icon active, the camera's microphone has failed — contact eufy support for a replacement.
