  2. Check the flame speed setting

  3. Power cycle the fireplace

  4. Check for loose connections (if comfortable to do so)

  5. Contact ClassicFlame for flame assembly repair

Frequently Asked Questions

ClassicFlame flame effect worked perfectly last year and is now flickering — why?

LED and motor components in the flame assembly degrade over time with use. After 2–5 years of regular use, the LED light source or the small motor that rotates the flame effect disc can begin to fail.

ClassicFlame flame effect totally off but heater works — related?

The heater and flame display operate independently. A dead flame display with a working heater points to a fault in the flame LED, motor, or display control board — not the heating element. Contact ClassicFlame support.

ClassicFlame flame only flickers on one side — cause?

Uneven flame effects where only one side flickers usually indicate a partially failed LED strip or a flame colour change module fault. This is a component-level repair — contact ClassicFlame or an authorised service centre.
