Only Xbox-licensed Fanatec products work on Xbox. The CSL DD and GT DD Extreme support Xbox. The DD Pro does not. You also need an Xbox-licensed steering wheel rim — a PC-only rim disables Xbox functionality.

Common Causes
- Using a DD Pro (PS/PC only) — does not support Xbox
- Base in PC mode instead of Xbox mode
- Using a non-Xbox-licensed rim on an Xbox-compatible base
- USB cable plugged into a USB hub instead of directly into the Xbox
- Game does not support the Fanatec wheel on Xbox
How to Fix It

Confirm your wheelbase is the Xbox-compatible version.
The CSL DD comes in two variants: standard (PC/Xbox) and DD Pro (PC/PS). Check the box and product page — "Xbox compatible" must be stated explicitly.

Switch the base to Xbox mode.
On the wheelbase display, navigate to the platform/mode setting and select Xbox. The base will reboot into Xbox compatibility mode.

Use an Xbox-licensed steering wheel rim.
Only Xbox-licensed rims (e.g., ClubSport Steering Wheel GT Flex) enable Xbox functionality. Connecting a PC-only rim disables Xbox mode even on a compatible base.

Connect the USB cable directly to the Xbox — not through a hub.
Xbox controllers and licensed accessories must connect directly to the console's USB ports. USB hubs are not supported.

Check the game's steering wheel support on Xbox.
