What Does This Error Mean?
Levoit humidifier not misting is most often caused by a calcified transducer disc, low water, or a blocked mist nozzle. Clean the transducer with white vinegar and ensure the tank is at least one-third full.

Levoit humidifier hums but no mist — why?
A hum without mist almost always means the transducer disc is heavily calcified and cannot vibrate. Clean the transducer with white vinegar as described above.
Why does Levoit produce less mist in hard water areas?
Hard water deposits calcium on the transducer rapidly. In hard water areas, use distilled or demineralised water in your Levoit humidifier to maintain full mist output and reduce the cleaning frequency.
