How to Fix It

Turn the AC off immediately and switch off at the circuit breaker.
F9 indicates the compressor is under severe electrical stress. Continuing to run it risks burning out the motor windings.

Wait 30 minutes for the compressor to cool down completely before any further action.
A thermal overload in the compressor may have tripped — it needs time to cool and reset before it will allow a restart attempt.
