How to Fix It

Check Task Manager for high CPU use.
Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and sort by CPU usage. A single process at 50–100% CPU is keeping the fan running. End the task or research what it is.

Power off, unplug, and turn the laptop upside down. Use compressed air to blow dust out of the side or rear vents. Hold the fan blades still while blowing — letting them spin freely can damage the bearing.

Open Acer Care Center or PredatorSense (depending on model) and select a balanced or quiet power profile. Gaming profiles keep the CPU and GPU at high frequency, which forces the fan to run loud constantly.
