Face ID Not Working — How to Fix

What Does This Error Mean?

Face ID not working is usually caused by a dirty sensor, a screen protector covering the Face ID camera, or Face ID needing to be re-set up after an iOS update. Clean the front camera area, remove thick screen protectors, and go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode to reset Face ID.
