Display Not Working
Jackery Portable Power Station
Severity:What Does This Error Mean?
Jackery Explorer display blank usually means the unit is powered off or in sleep mode. Press the power button once to wake the display. If the screen stays blank while charging, the LCD panel may have failed.
Affected Models
- Jackery Explorer 300
- Jackery Explorer 500
- Jackery Explorer 1000
- Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro
- Jackery Explorer 1500
- Jackery Explorer 2000 Pro
Common Causes
- Unit powered off — display only lights when unit is on
- Sleep mode activated after period of inactivity
- Battery fully discharged — unit has no power to drive the display
- LCD panel failure due to physical impact or manufacturing defect
- Firmware crash causing display controller to lock up
How to Fix It
-
Press the power button.
The Jackery display only operates when the unit is turned on. Press the power button once and wait 2 seconds for the display to light up. If nothing happens, the battery may be discharged — connect the AC charger.
-
Connect the AC charger and wait.
If the battery is fully discharged, the Jackery will not display anything until it has received some charge. Connect the AC charger and wait 10–15 minutes. The display should activate once the battery reaches a minimum charge level.
-
Check for physical damage to the screen.
Inspect the display area for cracks or pressure damage. A cracked LCD will show no image even if the unit is otherwise functional. Contact Jackery support if you see visible damage.
-
Perform a firmware reset.
On some Jackery models, holding the power button for 10–15 seconds forces a controller reset. Release the button, wait 10 seconds, and press the power button normally. This can recover a display that is frozen due to a firmware crash.
When to Call a Professional
If the unit appears to be working (fan running, outputs active) but the display stays completely blank, the LCD module may have failed. Contact Jackery support.
