Enphase Enlighten app not loading is usually caused by a phone internet connection issue, an outdated app version, or a temporary Enphase server-side problem. Force-close the app, check your internet connection, and reopen it.

Check your internet connection.
Open a browser or another app to confirm your phone has internet access. Enlighten requires a live connection to Enphase servers to display system data — it cannot show current production offline. If your phone is on mobile data, try switching to Wi-Fi or vice versa.

Force-close and reopen the app.
On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom to see recent apps and swipe Enlighten away. On Android, open Recent Apps and close Enlighten. Relaunch the app — a fresh start clears any frozen network requests or display errors.

Update the Enlighten app.
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for Enphase Enlighten. Install any available update — Enphase regularly updates the app after platform changes, and older versions may fail to load data from the updated API. After updating, sign in again if prompted.

Try the Enlighten web portal.
If the mobile app is not loading, try logging in at enlighten.enphaseenergy.com in a web browser. If the web portal loads your system data normally, the issue is specific to the mobile app installation. If neither the app nor the web portal loads, Enphase servers may be experiencing an outage.

Clear the app cache.
On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Enlighten → Storage → Clear Cache. On iPhone, delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store (iOS has no separate cache clear). After clearing, sign in again with your Enphase Enlighten credentials and the app should load fresh data.
