Remove and replace the filter, then press the Filter Reset button for 3 seconds to clear the indicator and restart the filter life counter.

How to Fix It

Power off the unit and remove the magnetic front panel. The HEPA filter sits directly behind the panel — lift it out by the tab at the top.
Alen BreatheSmart filters are large and easy to access — the magnetic front panel detaches without tools. Handle the old filter gently to avoid releasing trapped particles back into the air.

Check the replacement filter packaging to confirm it matches your model. Insert the new filter with the Alen logo facing outward. Reattach the front panel.
Alen offers several filter types (standard, fresh, smoke, and heavy-odor variants) — all physically fit the same machine but treat different air quality problems.
