Severity:What Does This Error Mean?
Breville E01 error means the thermocoil (the heating element) failed to reach brewing temperature within the expected time. The most common cause is heavy scale buildup insulating the thermocoil. Run a full descale cycle — this resolves E01 in most cases.

- Heavy limescale buildup on the thermocoil reducing heat transfer
- Thermocoil element failing due to age or hard water damage

- Temperature sensor (NTC) giving an incorrect reading
