Jura Coffee Machine Error 8 — Technical Fault

What Does This Error Mean?

Error 8 indicates a serious internal technical fault on a Jura machine. Try switching the machine fully off and back on. If Error 8 returns immediately, the machine needs professional service.

How to Fix It

Switch the machine fully off and on again.

Press and hold the power button until the machine shuts down completely. Wait 30 seconds and restart. A rare glitch can produce Error 8, and a full power cycle clears it.
Empty the grounds container and drip tray.

A full grounds container or drip tray can in some cases trigger internal sensor faults. Empty and clean both, then restart the machine.
Run a cleaning cycle if the machine allows it.

If the machine offers the option, run a rinse or cleaning programme. This may resolve a minor internal blockage that triggered the error.
