LG Dishwasher AE Error — Water Leak Fix

What Does This Error Mean?

Error AE means the anti-flood sensor in the base tray has detected water. The machine shuts down automatically. Unplug it, drain the base tray, identify and fix the leak, then restart.

How to Fix It

Switch off and unplug the dishwasher. Do not restart it until the leak is found and resolved.
Pull the machine away from the wall and look underneath. Tilt the machine slightly to the left to drain accumulated water from the base tray.
Dry the base tray with a sponge and cloths. Allow 1-2 hours to dry completely before reconnecting power.
Check all hose connections (inlet and drain), the door seal, the pump, and the spray arms for signs of moisture or mineral deposits indicating a drip.
