Frequently Asked Questions
Bosch induction hob E0 error — my pan worked before but now shows E0?
A previously working pan showing E0 may have developed a warped base, which reduces contact with the hob surface and defeats the induction sensor. Check the base flatness and clean both the pan and the hob.
E0 on Bosch induction hob with cast iron pan — why?
Cast iron is induction compatible but its rough base can reduce contact area. Ensure the cast iron pan is placed flat and centred on the zone. Enamelled cast iron usually works better than bare cast iron on glass hobs.
Can I use an induction disc adapter to fix the E0 error?
Yes. An induction heat diffuser disc placed between a non-induction pan and the hob will conduct heat. However, this reduces efficiency and the zone may still show E0 depending on the disc material.
