How to Fix It

Back up your data immediately.

Press F1 to continue past the error and boot Windows. Copy your important files to an external drive or cloud storage right now — Error 0280 is an early warning, but the drive is at risk.
Run Lenovo Diagnostics.

Reboot and tap F12 to access the boot menu, then select Lenovo Diagnostics. Run the extended hard drive test. The result tells you exactly which sectors or attributes are failing.
Check SMART data with CrystalDiskInfo.

Install CrystalDiskInfo from within Windows. This shows the drive's SMART attributes and tells you whether the drive is in Good, Caution, or Bad health.
Replace the drive with an SSD.
