Bosch Oven E0 Error — Temperature Sensor Fault

What Does This Error Mean?

E0 means the oven temperature sensor is open-circuited or has failed. The oven cannot regulate temperature and will not heat. Test the sensor and replace it if it reads outside spec.

How to Fix It

Reset the oven.

Turn off the oven at the circuit breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power. If E0 was a temporary fault, this will clear it.
Check the sensor wire connector.

The sensor probe is mounted inside the oven cavity (usually in the upper-rear corner or side wall). Check the wire connector — reseat it firmly if it is loose.
Test the temperature sensor with a multimeter.

Disconnect the sensor and test resistance at room temperature. Bosch oven sensors vary by model — check your service manual for the expected resistance. A reading of infinite resistance (open) confirms sensor failure.
