Error 007
Husqvarna Automower Robotic Lawn Mower
Severity: ModerateWhat Does This Error Mean?
Husqvarna Automower Error 007 means the mower's tilt sensor has detected that the unit is upside down or at an angle that makes safe operation impossible. The blade stops instantly as a safety measure. Right the mower, place it on a flat surface, and press OK on the keypad to clear the alarm and resume operation.
Affected Models
- Husqvarna Automower 105
- Husqvarna Automower 310E
- Husqvarna Automower 315X
- Husqvarna Automower 430XH
- Husqvarna Automower 450XH
- Husqvarna Automower 405X
Common Causes
- Mower was manually picked up and flipped upside down
- Mower climbed an obstacle or steep edge and tipped over
- Tall grass or a hidden object caught the mower body and flipped it
- Child or animal knocked the mower onto its side
- Tilt sensor fault — mower is upright but sensor incorrectly reports tilted position
How to Fix It
-
Locate the mower and right it on flat ground
Find the Automower in your garden — the alarm will have caused it to stop where it tipped. Carefully right the mower and place it flat on level ground. Avoid touching the blade disc underneath.
-
Check underneath for any trapped debris or damage
While the mower is stopped, inspect the blade disc for damage, jammed material, or bent blades. Husqvarna uses small replaceable blade pieces — a chipped or bent blade should be replaced before resuming. Wear gloves when handling the blade disc.
-
Enter the PIN and press OK to clear the alarm
On the Automower keypad, enter your 4-digit PIN and press OK. The display should exit the error screen. If the error clears and the mower operates normally, place it back in the lawn to continue its mowing session.
-
Check the mowing area for the hazard that caused the tip
Walk the area where the mower tipped and look for the cause — a brick edge, a hidden toy, a mole mound, or a slope that is steeper than the model allows. Remove the hazard or adjust the boundary wire to exclude that zone.
-
If Error 007 repeats without the mower actually tipping, contact service
If the error triggers repeatedly but the mower is upright each time, the tilt sensor may have drifted or failed. This is not a user-serviceable component. Contact your Husqvarna dealer for a sensor recalibration or sensor replacement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to carry my Husqvarna Automower upside down?
Carrying the mower is fine, but carrying it upside down will always trigger Error 007 because the tilt sensor detects the inverted position. If you need to inspect the blade disc, carry the mower to a work surface and tilt it briefly — the alarm will trigger but clears once you right it and press OK.
Does Error 007 mean my Automower's blade is damaged?
Not necessarily — Error 007 is a tilt/position error, not a blade motor error. However, a mower that has tipped over may have struck the blade disc against the ground. Check the blades visually and replace any that are chipped or bent. Husqvarna replacement blade sets are inexpensive and easy to swap.
