What Does This Error Mean?

Husqvarna Automower Error 009 means the mower detected it is trapped — it has collided with or become stuck against an obstacle repeatedly and cannot escape. The mower stops and signals for help. Lift the mower free, remove or relocate the obstacle, and press OK to resume.

How to Fix It

Go to where the mower stopped and free it

The Automower will have stopped as close to the trapped location as possible. Lift it clear of whatever is holding it. Check the wheels and chassis for entangled grass, string, or other debris that may have restricted movement.
Identify and remove the obstacle

Look for what caused the trap — a garden chair, plant pot, a child's toy, or a new feature in the garden such as a planting bed edge. Remove or permanently relocate the item out of the mowing zone.
Enter PIN and press OK to clear the alarm

With the mower free and on flat ground, enter your 4-digit PIN and press OK to acknowledge the Error 009 alarm. The mower should resume its mowing session if no other errors are present.
Inspect the boundary wire routing in the affected area

If Error 009 keeps happening in the same spot, the boundary wire may create a narrow corridor the mower enters but cannot exit. Adjust the wire routing to give the mower adequate turning room — Husqvarna recommends a minimum passage width of 60 cm for most models.
Use the Automower Connect app to see the error location
