Husqvarna Automower Error 010 — Upside Down

What Does This Error Mean?

Error 010 on a Husqvarna Automower means the tilt sensor has detected the mower upside down or tilted beyond its safe angle. This usually happens after picking the mower up. Set it back on level ground, press STOP then START to clear error 010.

How to Fix It

  1. Set the mower upright on level ground.

    Place the mower on flat lawn or paving. Make sure it is the right way up — wheels on the ground, top cover facing up.

  2. Press STOP to access the menu.

    Use the on-mower display, press the STOP button, then unlock with your PIN if required.

  3. Press START to resume operation.

    Once on level ground and unlocked, START clears error 010 and the mower resumes its schedule. The error is non-latching — it does not require a service reset.

  4. Investigate why the tilt happened.

    If the mower tipped on a slope, the slope may exceed the model's maximum gradient. Check the manual for your model's slope rating (typical models: 25%; X-models: 35–45%). Restrict the boundary to exclude excessive slopes.
