Ring Alarm sensor batteries (CR123A) typically last 3–5 years under normal use. The Ring app sends a low battery notification when the battery reaches approximately 20% remaining capacity.
Ring Alarm sensor showing low battery but I just replaced it — why?
After replacing the battery, the Ring app can take up to 24 hours to update the battery status. If the low battery warning persists for more than 24 hours with a known-fresh battery, try removing and reinserting the battery.
Can I use rechargeable batteries in Ring Alarm sensors?
