Vizio TV Error Code 1306 — Network Connection Issue

What Does This Error Mean?

Error 1306 is Vizio SmartCast's network error.
The TV thinks it's online but SmartCast can't reach Vizio's servers or a streaming service.
Restart the TV from the back panel.
Restart the router.
If 1306 keeps appearing, change DNS to 8.8.8.8 in network settings.

    Try opening any other app — if all apps fail with 1306, the network is the issue.
    If only one app fails, that streaming service is having issues, not Vizio.

  3. Restart the router.

    Unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in, wait 2 minutes for full boot.
    Most 1306 cases are network-side and resolve with a router restart.

  4. Set DNS manually to 8.8.8.8.

    Menu > Network > Manual Setup.
    Set DNS to 8.8.8.8.
    Apply.

    Menu > Account > Sign Out.
    Then sign back in with your Vizio account.
