E1
Tineco Vacuum Cleaner
Severity: ModerateWhat Does This Error Mean?
E1 on a Tineco means a blockage in the suction path or the clean water tank is empty. Check the dirty water tank, filter, brush roller compartment, and suction tube for any blockage, and refill clean water if low.
Affected Models
- Tineco FLOOR ONE S5
- Tineco FLOOR ONE S7
- Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro
- Tineco PURE ONE S11
- Tineco PURE ONE S15
Common Causes
- Large debris or solid object blocking the suction path
- Dirty water tank full and preventing continued pickup
- Suction inlet at the brush roller clogged with debris
- Clean water tank empty on wet floor washer models
How to Fix It
-
Switch off and unplug the Tineco.
-
Check the dirty water tank.
Remove and empty the dirty water tank. On FLOOR ONE models this is the darker, rear-facing tank. Rinse it out before reinstalling.
-
Inspect the brush roller inlet for blockage.
Flip the machine over and check the opening around the brush roller. Remove any large debris — bottle caps, coins, or compacted dirt — that may have blocked the suction inlet.
-
Check the suction tube and filter.
Remove the filter and rinse it under water. Check the tube connecting the brush head to the body for compacted debris. On PURE ONE stick vacuums, detach the wand sections and look through them for a clog.
-
Refill the clean water tank (FLOOR ONE models).
On wet/dry floor washer models, E1 can also indicate the clean water tank is empty or nearly empty. Refill with clean water before restarting.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I clear E1 on a Tineco FLOOR ONE?
Empty the dirty water tank, check the brush inlet for large debris, clean the filter, and refill the clean water tank. Once all four are addressed, restart the machine — E1 should clear immediately.
Why does Tineco E1 keep coming back?
Recurring E1 often means the filter is not fully clean or a partial blockage remains in the suction path. Rinse the filter thoroughly, allow it to dry, and inspect the full suction path from brush inlet to dirty tank.
