Severity:What Does This Error Mean?
Samsung washer UE error means the laundry is unbalanced and the machine has stopped the spin to prevent damage. Open the door, redistribute the clothes evenly in the drum, and restart the spin.

Common Causes
- Single heavy item spinning off-centre
- Laundry tangled into a ball
- Too small a load — one or two items cannot balance
- Washing machine not level on the floor
- Worn suspension springs or shock absorbers
How to Fix It

Redistribute the laundry.
Open the door and untangle the clothes. Spread them loosely and evenly around the drum. Close the door and restart the spin cycle.

Check the load size.
Small loads of one or two items cannot balance in the drum. Add a couple of similar-weight items, or select a dedicated Small Load or Delicate program for single garments.

Level the machine.
Use a spirit level on top of the machine. Adjust the four feet until the machine is level in all directions. Tighten the lock nuts on the feet when done.
When to Call a Professional
If UE occurs on every load regardless of laundry distribution and the machine is level, the suspension springs or shock absorbers are worn and need replacement.
