Asus router with WiFi LED off means the wireless radio is disabled.
Cause is usually a hardware WiFi toggle on the back of the router, a scheduled WiFi-off rule in the admin panel, or the radio failing.

How to Fix It

Check the hardware WiFi switch.
Some Asus routers have a physical WiFi on/off switch on the back or side.
Confirm it is in the on position.
The switch is small and easy to bump accidentally during dusting or cable management. -
Open the router admin.
From a wired computer, open 192.168.1.1 in a browser.
Sign in.
Wireless settings → confirm both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are enabled.
Apply changes. -
Check WiFi schedule.
Many Asus routers support scheduled WiFi-off windows for kids' bedtime.
Wireless → Professional → Schedule.
If a schedule is active, it overrides manual WiFi enable.
